Born on October 31st, 1949 in Camarón Nuevo Leon, México was called to be with the Lord on April 22, 2017 at the age of 67.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leocadio Vela; Father, Manuel Chapa; sister, Sonia Chapa; brother, Manuel Chapa.
She is survived by her beloved mother, Maria R. Chapa; siblings: Gloria Vasquez (Evaristo), Maria D. Chapa, San Juana A. Chapa, Sergio Chapa (Teresa), Rolando Chapa (Marisa), Jorge Chapa (Leticia), Amadeo Chapa (Georgette), Carlos Chapa (Rosa) and Jose A. Chapa (Susana).
The Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Friday, April 28th, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home (2525 Palo Alto Rd., San Antonio, Texas, 78211) with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Procession will depart from the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at 9:30 A.M. for a Service at 10:00 A.M. at Templo Gethsemani, (519 Commercial, San Antonio, TX, 78211). Interment will follow in First Memorial Park.
Cynthia Nohemí Chapa Negrete nació en Camarón, Nuevo León, México. Su alma abandonó este mundo, el Sábado 22 de Abril del 2017 a la edad de 67 años, siempre estará presente en nuestros corazones.
Esposo: Leocadio Luis Vela (+). Le sobreviven sus hijos: Eduardo Vela, Leocadio Luis Vela Jr., y nuera Viridiana Vela. Nieto: Ian N. Vela.
Sus amados padres: María del Refugio Negrete de Chapa y Manuel Chapa (+). Sus queridos hermanos: Gloria Vásquez (Evaristo), María D. Chapa, Manuel Chapa (+) (Teresa), San Juana A. Chapa, Sergio Chapa (Teresa), Rolando Chapa (Marisa), Jorge Chapa (Leticia), Amadeo Chapa (Georgette), Carlos Chapa (Rosa) y José A. Chapa (Susana).
Se invita a demás familiares y amistades a atender el velatorio el Viernes 28 de Abril 2017 a partir de las 5:00 P.M. en la Funeraria Del Ángel Treviño (2525 Palo Alto Rd., San Antonio, Texas, 78211) con servicio de oración a las 7:00 P.M. El Sábado 29 de Abril 2017 partiremos a las 9:30 A.M. al Templo Gethsemani (519 Commercial, San Antonio, TX, 78211), donde realizaremos un servicio religioso y finalmente sus restos serán depositados en el cementerio First Memorial Park.
