I was Cyndi's roommate at Wheaton College. She was strong-willed and opinionated, which sometimes created friction between us, but that strength carried her through many adversities in her life, and made her an awesome mother for John. She had a tender heart for the hurting, and was generous with both her time and resources when she saw a need. I will always remember her senior organ recital -- phenomenal! I know she is rejoicing in the presence of her Lord, but her absence leaves a big hole in my heart.
