Cynthia Hallworth Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 12, 2025.
Cynthia Jean (Butterman) Hallworth was born on July 15, 1947, to William Butterman and Elizabeth Freberg Butterman. She is survived by her sister, Judith Anne Butterman. She was the beloved wife of the late Dennis Paul Hallworth, whom she met at Tolman High School in 1963. They married on March 2, 1968, and together celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on March 2, 2025.

Cindy was the devoted mother of four sons: Eric Jon, Scott Tige, Keith Adam, and the late Todd Michael. She was also the proud grandmother of eight granddaughters and one grandson.

A dedicated educator, Cindy taught Business Education at Sawyer School in Rhode Island before her retirement. She had a lifelong love of helping others, photography, and dancing.

Cindy and Dennis made their home in Seekonk, Massachusetts, for 40 years before moving to Cypress Falls, Florida, in 2016, where she lived until her passing.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Cindy´s passing. My heart goes out to Cindy and Den's children, grandchildren, and Judy, her sister. Cindy was a devoted wife, a loving mom, and a remarkable woman whose kindness, bright spirit, and fantastic sense of humor touched all who knew her.

Cindy you will always be in my heart with Dennis too . You both were an inspiration, and wonderful grandparents: from school pick ups to talks to fun cookies for the holidays and fun memories by the pool in Seekonk , Abbi and Nate are lucky to have had you in their lives and now in their heart . Rest easy , love , Lo
