MacKENZIE, Cynthia (nee Talosig) Passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the age of 60. Beloved wife of Jeffrey MacKenzie. Loving sister of Edna T. Monette (Jean-Guy), Lydia Austria (Rudy), Noel Talosig (Juliet) and Dante Talosig (Luz). She was predeceased by her parents Candido Talosig and Esperanza Alonzo as well as her brothers Jessie and Oscar. She is survived by many uncles, aunts, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be sadly missed by her good friend Jasmin Foster and her family. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, on Sunday, December 20, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, December 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Divine Infant Church, 6658 Bilberry Dr., Orleans, on Monday, December 21, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Orleans-Cumberland Community Resource Centre or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Dear Jeff,

I was so sorry to read about Cynthia's passing. I really enjoyed getting to know her at the food bank. I wish for you and the rest of Cynthia's family, peace in your time of sorrow.
