CYNTHIA SMILEY ROQUE, age 44, Cynthiana, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. Born in Cynthiana, March 4, 1968 to Ana Linville Smiley of Cynthiana and the late Garnett Smiley, she was a Registered Nurse for St. Joseph East Hospital and a member of Robinson Christian Church. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Martin Roque; a son Alan Daniel Roque and a daughter, Martina Maria Roque, both of Cynthiana; a brother, Jimmy Smiley, Harrison County; a sister, Patricia Whalen, Lexington and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Benny Northcutt. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Cub Scouts Pack 60, P.O. Box 307, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031 and the Harrison County Girl Scouts, c/o Jenny Tapp, 111 Cherry Lane, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
