My brother, always and forever will you live in my heart. The good times together that we had, again I will be with you when my time has come. You meant so much to me, and I'm sorry I never got to say goodbye. Even now I think of you every day, as I could never forget how you made me smile and how much of a friend you always were to me. I just really wish I could have done more for you, to say a goodbye at least. I am writing a song in memory of you, so everyone can remember. Just wish you were still here...

I would love to say that I didn't personally know Dakota, but I have heard a lot about him and I think he was and always will be a very loved and caring person. I just want to say that I am truly sorry for the loss of a beautiful families amazing son. I went to the funeral for Dakota because my sister Leslie Guiles went and they were friends, but I thought that I would also pay my respects because I was there. I'm so sorry, I am truly sorry to the family that has to deal with the pain. But just know that Dakota, as well as our Lord and Savior, will be in our hearts forever. As we pray for the loss, just think about all the wonderful, beautiful memories you made that will last forever. Much love, to the family, Dakota Williams.
Sincerely, Leah Guiles.

Dakota was a bright light in the Williams family. He was so loved by Jerry, Sr and by his great-grandmother Margaret. The rest of us, Great-Aunt Darlene, Great-Uncle Robert, and Uncle Trent and Aunt Katie, were so, so happy to have had some wonderful times with you and your dad at Christmas. We will never, never forgot what a loving, generous, caring young man you had become; and we will always cherish the memories we have of the family times shared with you.

Even though we are only cousins, I have always though of Dakota as my brother. I will miss the all night video games at Grandma's house. I will miss us riding roller coaster with our Dads. And most of all I will miss Dakota being my best friend. I will always remember how he could make everyone laugh even if they were sad.

Dakota was a member of our extended family. We had known about him all of his life but had only briefly seen him a couple of times. Last Christmas Dakota and his father were part of our family holiday celebration. We'll always remember his greeting to us at our Christmas dinner.
He said, "I'm a hugger. I want a hug." And we gladly hugged him. We will forever remember that precious hug and the delightful time we had with him that night.
Sending caring thoughts, love, and prayers,
Carol and Bob Rogow

We share your unexpected loss, the shock and numbing grief. Yet we know the legacy of this young Dakota should flood your hearts with Joy, in knowing of his selflessness, his caring for others, his gifts of Life that he provided. We share in knowing this remarkable young man, always looking for ways to serve others. May God reach out to you in HIS own way to comfort and strengthen your hearts!

Dakota,
I love you more than words can say. I miss you so much and I'm not sure how to live anymore. My world is empty without you. I remember the day you were born; I remember sitting outside the hospital crying as it was the happiest day of my life. I remember the day you died as it was the saddest day of my life. I cannot and will never forget you, and I will always carry you in my heart everywhere I go. I kissed my balloon for you and I hope you caught it. I dream of the day when I can see you again. Until then, I will try to live up to the man you were. I love you Koda...
Love always,
Dad

We would walk together the play ground when I had recess duty, which I did a lot of. May the Lord be with him, and all of us who loved him.

Dakota B. Williams was the most lively, humorous, and genuine person I knew. Every morning he would make my day by cracking a joke or just making me smile. The day will come when I will see him again. Until then, I hope his pain is over and justice comes to him. Maybe one day we can fulfill our plans that we made so long ago.
