Coleman, Dale Jean Stanley Cole

1940-2013: Dale Jean Stanley Cole Coleman, 73, of Panama City, FL passed away in her sleep Sunday, December 29, 2013, at her home. Dale was born in Endicott, NY, and lived in Panama City since 1984. She retired as a Register Nurse after working at the Tompkins County Hospital, Ithaca, NY and Bay Medical Center, Panama City. Dale was a member of the VFW, AmVets, Elks and Moose Lodge. She loved Bingo, Biloxi and Bowling, and coached Cinderella softball for many years. Dale was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Coleman and a brother, Donald Stanley. Survivors include her children, Timothy Cole (Donna) of Panama City, Cynthia Cole Jones (Richard) of Greenfield Center, NY, Donald Cole (Patience) of Gallatin, TN, Sherill Cole Speyer of Chandler, AZ and Amy Cole Matheson (Eric) of Ogden, UT; her step-children, Staci Coleman Creary of Panama City, Terry Cole (Mary) of Ithaca, NY, and Susan Cole Squire (Jim) of Medina, OH; her grandchildren, Christopher Cole, Matthew Cole, Kimberly Cole, Scott Cole, Bailey Cole, Tanner Cole, Jennifer "Jenna" Speyer, David "Digger" Speyer, Zachary Matheson, Kristoffer Matheson, Eric "Ricky" Matheson, Alexander Matheson, Krystal Matheson, Kjersti Matheson, and Kendrick Matheson, Misty Creary, Lexi Creary, Wendy Cole, Kelly Cole, Donald Squire, Robert "Robbie" Squire, William "Billy" Squire, Elizabeth "Beth" Squire Fredericks, and Stephen Squire; and her three great-grandchildren, Dayja, Mykayla, and Maddison Cole. Funeral services were held January 2, 2014, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jeff Anderson officiating. Donations in Dale's name may be made to a favorite charity. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Dale. She was and always will be remembered as a fun loving person. I met Dale while at one of my first National Bowling Tournaments back in the late 90's. We laughed and laughed, we bowled like crap and were all going to put our balls in the river on the way back, after a detour to the casino's, to the hotel. She always added her whit to our fun. Hugs and Kisses to all of her family. She gave us all a lot of her love through the sport of bowling and the good times we had together. God Bless RIP Dear Lady Friend. We love you always.

Dale was the best coach, mentor and friend. She was always helping others and gave a lot of her personal time. I had a blast bowling with her too. I'm thinking of all her children of whom I grew up with. God bless you all in this time of sadness. Victoria Prouty Muse
