My sincere condolences to the family. Dr Crockett was a great boss, mentor and friend. When presenting cases to him , he would always say talk to me goose ( a funny top gun reference that always put me at ease no matter how complicated the case) His humor , kindness and compassion will be dearly missed. He is with His perfect Heavenly Father now which is of great comfort. Blessings

Dale Crockett was my head drum major my fish year at A&M. As a fish, I thought he was a god. He was an inspiration and I would've done anything he ordered. When I later learned that he got into Medical School, I was all the more inspired by his example--he was smart and strong and everything I wanted to be. Years later, he showed up at a Hill Country Village city council meeting in the neighborhood where we live. I hadn't seen him in years and didn't know he'd moved into the area, but I instantly recognized him and would've been ready to get down and do "two-five," had he ordered me to do so, or "run up" and "step off for the colonel," had he blown a whistle. Then I just happened to catch the local news not too long ago, where he and several nurses were honored for helping save several lives from carbon monoxide poisoning. I'm sure he saved many lives throughout his career, and he certainly inspired my life. Andrew Reichert '90

I am privileged to know Dr Dale Crockett from our time together at Texas A&M as members the Aggie Cadet Corps and Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. Dale was one of my Squad Leaders my fish year. When I recognized the talents this quiet leader honed and tested in a challenging academic and military college life, he inspired me to perservere successfully to achieve my electrical engineering degree and accept a commission in the US Air Force. Seeing my classmates and upper classmen last night reminded me they share in my success as USAF R&D project manager, industry consultant, and Service-Disabled Minority Veteran Owned Small Businessman. Gig'em, Dale, until we meet again at the last Final Review.

Dale was my roommate for 2 years in Med school, we stood together at our marriages as groomsmen, and most importantly a sojourner with me in our faith in Christ for many decades, I love Dale, and he had a great influence in my life. I will miss him dearly as a true friend who always added humor and joy to any conversation we had.

Dale was my son's roommate their first two years in the "Fighting Aggie Band". His faithful walk with his Lord was role to follow for all who knew him and especially his Aggie buddies. It is heartbreaking that he left us so soon. My prayers are for the family and those who also loved him.

Dale was one of my first interns when I was a 3rd year medical student. He was a great man then, and continued to set a great example for those that followed him. I was privileged to have served with him in the military, and then work together on a periodic basis at the Methodist Hospital. Great physician, great man, and I'm sure a great father and son as well. You will be greatly missed

Dale was an extremely intelligent, humerus and God fearing man. Being in the ER was exactly where God wanted him to be as an MD. He did a wonderful job leading the Aggie Band and he will be deeply missed. We will meet again one day and until then.....to God Be the Glory!!!!

I am proud to have had the honor and privilege to have the fond memories of working with this honorable and well respected physician. I am a nurse of over 24 years and I can sincerely admit he is one of the very few in which I never saw him lose his temper and had mutual respect for everyone he collaborated with. He will be greatly missed but had definitely left a legacy to emulate. Rest In Peace Dr. Crockett, God bless you and thank you for your dedication and service.

Dr. Dale Crockett '87, was a superb student and Cadet Leader. As Head Drum Major, he simply was just excellent in every regard. Always a positive role model and servant leader. During the Band's Centennial celebration in 1994, he and several other Doctors used their medical training and skills to revive and save the life of an older Bandsman on the field that day, a perfect example of the Aggie Spirit and professionals serving the needs of others. It was an honor to serve Dale and his classmates. I am so thankful for wonderful memories. On be,half of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band, your spirit marches on. God's
blessing to the family and your BQ buddies.

Crockett family and friends, holding you all in my thoughts. I was a high school friend of Dale's and we had reconnected via Facebook over the last several years. I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful man to all of your lives. Clearly, he leaves a legacy of love and accomplishment but he leaves it much too early. May peace that passes understanding find its way into your lives during this unimaginable time.
