Connie and Family - Dale was a good friend and role model to all of us who worked and learned together at RHHS during the 70s and 80s. I truly enjoyed working as a colleague with Dale as well as our many trips carpooling to WSU as we completed our Masters degrees. Cherish your good times and memories.

Mandi, I am so sorry for your loss and you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. As the saying posted says, I am sure that his life now is much better than the life here on earth. You all are thought of much and loved and missed. God be with your family through this time and the future.

Transitions can be tough. Someone once shared that we are all passing through - from the transition from the womb to life on this earth to death and on to what is next. Our spirits are truly on a journey and Dale is on to the next stage for him. I'm sure if he could share his thoughts they would be ones of comfort and assurance that the next stage is even better than life on earth.
John and I have many memories of time spent with both Connie and Dale. Probably the most influencing was the time they spent with us in Denver while they researched genealogy. John spends many hours researching ours now.

From the time we met Dale, in May of 1976, he was a steady, positive, constant influence in our lives and the life of the Rose Hill Christian Church. A young man then, he was teaching, coaching, teacing driver's ed in the summer, driving a milk truck on Saturday, a school bus most mornings and many afternoons, and was church treasurer. Always he was among the most faithul at church and when we added elders he was among the very first selected. A step ahead of us growing a family, we took cues in parenting from Dale and Connie. Jason wore some some Harper hand me downs. To Connie and family, we can imagine the loss you feel, find comfort in the hope of eternity we share with you through Christ, and renew our affection for you. May the Lord embrace you.

Connie and famiily, Our deepest and most sincere prayers go out to you. We have prayed for you and Dale for many years and we know where Dale is now. That doesn't make it any easier on you, we realize. May God give you peace beyond your understanding. We have many fond memories of you both at Friends University and we thank God for those memories. We will keep you in our prayers.

Connie and family,
Dale was a good high school friend of my brother (Butch Kelch) and my mother (Clara-Louise Kelch) a teaching colleague and his former English teacher at Rose Hill High School. I went to high school with both your parents/grandparents. My best memory of Dale is when he and Raymond found the litter of baby skunks, and he gave one to my mother. We had Sport as a pet for 7 years. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

In my mind, I can still see Mr. Harper in the halls of Rose Hill High. He always had a bit of an ornery yet kind smile. I have my driver's license today because Mr. Harper had the courage to ride with me as I learned. Thank you and God bless Mr. Harper. My deepest sympathies to your family.

Sorry to hear of Dale's passing. I have fond memories of him teaching us drivers ed at Stafford. I remember him having to use his break when I tried to take a sharp curve on the way to Pratt just a bit too fast. :-) May God Bless him.
