Dale C. McQuinn

Dale Curtis McQuinn, Jr., age 76, passed away on July 18, 2025, in Hayward, California. Born on February 10, 1949, in Oakland, Dale was a life long resident of Hayward. He lived a full and vibrant life rooted in dedication to his work, service to his country, and the simple joys that brought him happiness.

After graduating from Chabot College with a degree in welding, Dale embarked on a long and steady career at U.S. Pipe and Foundry. His commitment to his craft and strong work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues throughout his years of service until his retirement.

Before beginning his civilian career, Dale proudly served in the United States Navy. His time in the military was a defining chapter of his life-one marked by discipline, camaraderie, and honor.

Dale shared 37 years of marriage with his beloved wife Nora Jean before her passing. Their enduring partnership was a cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his daughter Holly; his daughter-in-law Susan; his brother Kim; and his loving companion Marty. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who were part of the extended family that meant so much to him.

In retirement, Dale found joy in the everyday pleasures that reflected who he was at heart. A devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers, he rarely missed a game and cheered passionately for his team. He also enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden, a source of both pride and peace. Known for his quick wit and love of humor, Dale delighted those around him with jokes and laughter.

Dale's memory will live on through those who knew him best-his family, friends, and all who shared in the warmth of his humor and kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August, 17, from 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM at his Home in Hayward
