Hi Harley, it's Monday, July 7, 2025 and I just learned of your Dad's passing. My heart is so saddened for you and your family and for the rest of us who knew him. I used to take my typewriters to your Dad to fix and polish up at your house. A simple drop off or pick up visit always turned into a fascinating conversation of his passion for these machines, lasting sometimes 2 hours! On one of my visits I asked if I could take a picture of him. I wanted to share this picture with you, your family and all of his friends. My email address is on this website, would love to send you this picture, please reach out.

Jerry and the Wallace Family were a large part of my brother and my childhood. Summers at Arroyo Seco, Picnics at San Antonio Mission, Card games on Friday nights, at dance lessons for our parents at Larry Peligrini's studio in Monterey. Over the years, we all grew apart, but so many wonderful memories have survived those years. The Family photo with Dalton, Mary, Janet and Jerry touched my heart. My condolences for your lost. I remember Jerry well. I brought many typewriters to him over the years to fix and bought my favorite ever used green IBM selectric from him. My condolences.

Dalton was a good man, and tried to always do the right thing.
