What an icon of the 37th Street Church of Christ as I was growing up. What strength we represented by his presence. Even as I came back to visit, he was there. I always made it a point to go speak to him Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

He absolutely was a favorite of mine, always a gentleman, kind and always listened when I had questions. I was barely a Realtor and did not know how to read the settlement statements, he listened, then showed me what and why. He kept snacks in the back room, Dolores Jones and I would run by for a snack if we were out and about, he would smile and tell us to help ourselves! I am praying for you all to be comforted in this time by the sweet touch of Jesus. He will be missed.

This news is very sad, i know how my friends feel losing their father. As a boy and young man growing up in Snyder Mr Dan Cotton is one of those men that you see around town, a leader for many years. A man whom you would see advice from. I always liked his hats very cool and distinguished looking. Like many around town he helped many of us with housing concerns and legal matters like wills! He will be greatly missed by many I am very sorry for your family loss, i thought highly of Mr Dan Cotton. God bless.
