I knew Dan as a fraternity brother at Purdue, and since he was a couple of years ahead of me in the same major, I benefitted from his knowledge and patience on those occasions my engineering homework became a bit too challenging. In the last few years (since 2018) I was able to visit him a couple of times when in Austin, and Dan's faith was inspirational. Our prayers go out to Dan's family as I can only imagine how much they miss him, but I share his faith that they will all be reunited in paradise.

To Dan's family, I am very sorry for your loss. I had the good fortune of working with your dad my first five years after joining Fluor. I was sad to see him move on from Fluor. He was a pleasure to work with and be around. He will be missed.

Dan was a classmate of mine in High School and I loved that guy He along with his friends spent countless hours at my house hanging out eating popcorn and drinking kool-aid. Great choices for snacking right?! Dan was one of the nicest, most considerate, loving, beautiful people I´ve been blessed to have in my life. I was fortunate enough to get to speak with him a couple of years ago while traveling to and from Texas and we had a really long talk just catching up after not seeing him for many years. He was still that same sweet guy. It was a blessing to have shared that moment in time with him. Know that your are so lucky to have him as a dad, a brother and friend. He will be greatly missed My prayers go out to you and your family today and may God wrap His loving arms around you and comfort you during this most difficult time

Dani, we are so extremely sorry for your loss. Your dad was the best and it was obvious to ALL just how much he loved you and was proud of you. He was such a sweet and caring man, always with a smile and kind words. He genuinely cared for those around him and wanted the best for them. He was and will continue to be an inspiration to those who were lucky enough to cross his path. We are thinking of you and your family now and hope that you all find peace in his memory.

Kindest person, most humble spirit to everyone, amazing dad and human being. He was the most supportive dad sitting on the sidelines always there for his kids during games and also doing so much in the background to ensure the team had the support they needed with countless hours of volunteering through the years-Dan treated his kids´ teammates and friends with such a sincere and kind heart. Dan remembered people and let them know because he was that kind of person. I did not know Dan well other people seeing him at all the bball games and functions, but this is all I observed of him when our kids were on the same teams for a long while and even after they grew up. Always a very pleasant demeanor and super kind-never pushy or judgmental which is a rarity in people now days. I know he will be missed by so many here and is is doing amazing work for Heaven as we speak! To Dani and her family-much love to you, Dani. You are in our hearts and prayers .
