Dana LeSueur Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 9, 2024.
Dana Ann Ludolph LeSueur died September 23, 2024, at the age of 89. The most important things to Dana were her faith, her family and her real estate profession. Even as she advanced in her Alzheimer's journey, she continued to attend the family rosary via zoom until just a few months before she died. She loved her Catholic faith and attended Mass regularly all her life. Most dementia patients lose the memories of their family members, but not Dana. Even a week before she died she recited her siblings names: Lib, Nan, Cele, Bud and Pat; and her children, Mary, Patty, Alisa and Katey.

Her family was her life. She was a single mom for many years, and was so proud that all her daughters earned college degrees. She was often heard bragging about her daughters' or grandchildren's accomplishments. She had an adventurous spirit, a great work ethic and a witty sense of humor.

Dana earned a BS in Biology from Sacred Heart College in Wichita, KS, but it was her Real Estate profession that defined her. She was well known in San Antonio real estate circles as she sold residential property for over 50 years. She found and sold houses for generations of families, with many repeat customers. Drawing on her father's example, she was flipping houses in the 70s, well before it became the rage it is today.

Dana was born on March 13, 1935 in Marshall, TX. Dana is survived by her remaining sibling, Bud, her 4 daughters and 3 grandchildren; a ton of nieces and nephews and their children. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, her beloved 4 sisters, 2 grandchildren and one infant son.
