Daniel Judd Obituary
Daniel Knapp Judd, age 28, of Provo, passed away April 18, 2006. He was born August 23, 1977 in Provo, to Dale Kenneth and Janet Cox Judd.
Dan has been employed with JSI, a family owned business, doing excavation work for 10 years, as an estimator and a construction manager. He was a very hard worker, and was dedicated to his job. He had made many good friends through his fellow co-workers and business associates.
Dan loved the out doors, and especially spending time at Lake Powell. He loved to cook, and was exceptionally good at it. He was always the life of the party, and was a big kid at heart.
He found the love of his life, Beccah McCloud, who brought him much joy and happiness.
Dan loved his family, they were the most important thing on earth to him. He especially loved his nieces and nephews, all twelve of them, and he was always their favorite uncle.
Dan's love for life was as big as the whole outdoors.
We miss you ÔBud', and will never forget you.
He is survived by his parents of Provo, two brothers and three sisters, Dale "Sport" Judd, Lake Shore; Jamie (Jim) Carson, Pleasant Grove; Dean (Kathy Grow) Judd, Provo; Jodie (Selom Nutor) Judd, Chicago, IL; and Jenie (Van) Hatfield, Mapleton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and by one niece, Jourdan Carson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Edgemont 4th Ward Chapel, 4000 North 650 East, Provo. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Friday evening, from 6-8 p.m., or Saturday at the Ward Chapel, one hour prior to services. Interment, East Lawn Memorial Hills. Condolences may be sent to [email protected].

I've been thinking so much of you lately. When Chloe was in the hospital in her deep sleep I know you were watching over her all the time. I miss you so so much I hurt, some days the pain is manageable and others not. I know I'll see you again. I love you, thanks for still watching after us.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

It's a funny thing that I have thought about Dan, I feel so bad he is gone, I loved growing up with him and Jennie. I think of him at random times and still can't believe he is no longer here. He was lots of fun when we were little. It is a great comfort to know there is something more beyond the vail. Sure miss you!!! Keri

Where do I begin, for starters I miss you so much! I feel like I have this huge hole in my heart where you should be! The feelings I'm having lately are just a bunch of mixed emotions. The thing that helps me is that I know I will see you again and I know that you are watching over...
I don't understand and maybe time will help. As you know I came down to Hawaii to clear my head and see if that helps, but I find mysef missing and missing you more each day! Keep watching over us and I long for the time I can see your smiling face and talk with you....

Hey Dan, I miss you so much it hurts. You were my best friend for ten years, we shared eachothers secerts and eachothers pain, and now I feel really lost. I so wish things would have turned out different. I know that you are around me, when I need someone the most, it is you that I feel. I shared the dream I had about you coming in your white truck, with your white suit on! It made your mom feel so much better.
Their as been times that I'm calling Chelsea, and I accidently call your cell phone, then I break all over again. I want you here with us so much, but you are in a better place now, but we want you here. The hardest part is letting you go.
I worked at the fruit stand this year. Everyday I kept thinking you were going to stop in and eat a peach. You Daniel Judd were the greatest person that I have ever met. I wish you could be here and see my chloe, even though I know sometimes you are watching her when I am running around trying to get my life put back together. I can tell because she will be in the room just laughing, and I feel you in my heart and in my soul everyday.
I'm sorry about the last year, things got crazy, but I know that you got to read your book of life at the golden gates, so I know you will understand. My mom cries for you, I mean who doesn't cry for ya. We miss you so much, Please keep coming to my dreams and watching over Chloe,& your family. I tell Chloe all about you, but she just wants to eat all your pictures. I love you Dan, so please don't ever forget me.
I know their is alot of stress now, but time will heal all pain.

Judd Family.
I can't begin to tell you how sad my heart is for your lose, and ours also. Dan was so funny I just loved him so much, he never forgot me at Christmas with a cute shirt an expensive one also. sometimes I would go to bed and when I woke up guess who was asleep on my couch? Dan. he always knew that he could come by and the house was always open to him. I wil truly miss him as will all of my children. Missing Dan will be like climbing the highest Mt. but remember how beautiful the view from the top. Dan will be welcomed with open arms by those who passed on before him, many great friends. Dan was such a good kid he was just like my own, I cannot believe that he will not be around to laugh with and talk to. I miss him already. My heart breaks for your family, and his friends.

We first met Dan when we rented his home in Springville in 2004. We got to know him quite well while doing home renovations with him. We became good friends in a short period of time. He always could make us smile and bring our spirits up at any given moment. He was someone that everyone got along with. Dan was a non judgmental person. Anytime he would stop by; he would make us and everyone else feel welcome. Dan you will be missed and our condolences go out to your family and friends. We will miss you!!!!!
