Rev. Daniel Joseph Lemke

Daniel Lemke, age 68, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on July 29, 2025 surrounded by loved ones, after struggles with pulmonary fibrosis.

Born on March 23, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, Daniel was the beloved son of Warren Norman Lemke and Sarah Catherine (Grannan) Lemke. He was a sweet and devoted husband to Nancy Fay Lemke,

a parent, sibling, and friend to many. He brought warmth and kindness into the lives of everyone he met. He was aware of God's great mercy to him and had a heart of mercy for others.

Daniel served faithfully as a minister of the gospel, loved sharing the love of Jesus with others, and spent much of his life serving others selflessly. He was known for his dedication and compassion. Outside of work, Dan enjoyed watching NASCAR, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes play, and was always happiest when he was spending time with his wife and other family members.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Angel Lemke and stepchildren Jeremy Corbin, Steve (Jess) Corbin, Holly Borders and Timothy Davis (Louise Ford); siblings Paul (Tami) Lemke, Warren Lemke (Barbara Cote), Karen (Pat) Casparro, and Barbara (Jeff) Neuburger, as well as nieces, nephews, 16 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Nancy Jane Lemke and infant brothers David Albert Lemke and Fred Paul Lemke.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Indian Rocks Baptist Church at North East Park, 3737 1st Street NE, St Petersburg, FL 33704. Presiding over the service will be Pastor DJ Springman and Pastor Frank Johnson.
