Daniel Pulone Obituary
He served in the New Jersey National Guard, 114th Infantry Regiment in 1949, then served in the Army Engineer Corps stationed at Fort Dix during the Korean Conflict and was transferred to the Army Reserves, receiving his honorable discharged after six years of service in 1956. He worked for his father, Daniel A. Pulone Sr., architect, Thomas Henry Moran, architect, and Micklewright and Mountford. He was appointed assistant architectural supervisor with the State of New Jersey, Department of Education in 1960. Throughout this appointment he reviewed plans for all public schools and building construction for a 10 year period. He was also employed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Health, Institutions and Agencies, serving as building inspector for Fire and Safety from 1971 to 1984.
After retirement in 1984, he continued to pursue his passion for architecture and was a consultant until the time of his death. He was described by colleagues as conscientious, reliable, thorough and dedicated, always striving to improve his knowledge and ability to understand construction. His hobbies included traveling and sight seeing throughout the United States, antique and coin collecting, boating, and the New Jersey Shore.
Predeceased by his parents Daniel A. Sr. and Edith Speidel Pulone, and stepsons Joseph and James Hoffner, he is survived by his wife Regina Moore Pulone; sister and brother-in-law, Theodora (Doris) and J.M. Stevenson; children Sarah L., Daniel A. III, Edith (Edie), Benedetto V. and wife Carolyn Pulone; stepson Thomas and wife Joanne Hoffner; stepdaughter, Kathy Hoffner; grandchildren Jiro R. Wolf, Earl III, Erica and Evan Stout, Michael, Lia and Danielle Hoffner; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville Allentown Road, Yardville.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the Memorial Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Jersey Organ and Tissue Sharing Network, 841 Mountain Ave., Springfield, NJ 07081.

Just wanted to share this Memorable Day with You. 9/11/01 We will Never Forget!
It's so hard to believe it's been 9 years. Time does go by quickly in retrospect.
The Sky is Beautiful today. Very clear and Blue. One of those top 10 days of this year. Perfect temp.
I planted some Rose cuttings. With the Moon waxing in Scorpio I am Praying they do GROW.
Going to C Jackson Browne tonite. One of my top 3 Favorites.

I had a very productive day and the weather was Beautiful. One of the top Ten days of the year for me.
I stopped by the Cemetary to bring you some flowers and a balloon.
The Balloon broke free from the ribbon as soon as I got there. I was trying to keep it from flying away and that's just what it did.

Dear Dad,
I went to visit you at the cemetery on the 1st anniversary of you going to Heaven. There was already a pretty mauve colored mum
and I brought a burgandy colored one.The grass had grown over the edge of your plack alittle on the corners. The bronze plack marking Paw-Paw and Gram's graves was sinking in and the grass has really taken over. I was digging away at it and a helpful fellow {Harry},who works there went and got me a bigger flat nose shovel. He did all the edging and then lifted the placks and put soil under them. It looks so much better now. I think that I might be allowed to put a flat stone or marble edgging around the placks. It will be easier to maintain. I'm going to plant some Fall bulbs now, and in the Spring you'll have some more beautiful flowers.
Dad, I hope you are at Peace and Resting comfortably.

Dear Dad,
It's offical, I celebrated my 50th birthday yesterday. I spent two nites in Atlantic City and went to see Pearl Jam at The Borgata Hotel. I was thinking of you as I walked around the Casino's and Boardwalk. The weather was beautiful.

I forgot to tell you yesterday that Jamie & Jiro are Engaged. They haven't set a date yet. Jiro is doing so well. He bought a house in December and they moved in a couple of weeks ago. I was so very sorry to hear of the death of Uncle Bud, as he was referred to by our family. I have amazing memories of him as a child when he would come visit. Me, my brother and sister adored him and Jean and were always so excited to see them. They always spent a lot of time with us, and gave us cool stuff which we thought was neat as a child. This is very sad news, but my thoughts and prayers are with your family now during this time, he is in a place now that is far better and his suffering is over. God Bless you all.

We are so sorry about your loss. We worked with Daniel at the NJ Dept. of Education in the 60's and 70's. Danny was always there to help you in your work. I sat next to Dan in the office. We had some great times in the office.
