DANTE DAWKINS Obituary
Age 29, of Clairton, PA, died Thursday, January 21, 2016, in Pittsburgh. Born January 4, 1987, in Pittsburgh, son of Katherine L. Scott of Clairton and the late Frederick Dawkins. He had attended The Kaplan School for Electronics and worked for a short period at MVP in Dravosburg. Surviving are his mother; fiancée, Willa G. Spence; daughter, Diore L. Dawkins; children he helped rear, Cequcoria Hammonds, Clifford Hammonds, Jr. and BenetJyn Ingram, all of Clairton; brothers, Caleb K. (Jennifer) Scott of Clairton, Daniel (Monica) Dawkins of McKeesport and Brian Dawkins of Clairton; sisters, Charisma Dawkins of Lithonia, GA, and Shannon (Andre) Wiggins of Clairton; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Friends will be received Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Gethsemane Church of God In Christ, 200 Crest St., Clairton with funeral services following the visitation hour at 12:30 p.m. Elder Melvin Brown, officiating and Rev. Leroy Thompson, Jr. bringing the eulogy. Interment private. Local arrangements by the ROBERT A. WATERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., Clairton.

Peanut, so sorry for your loss. Dante was such sweet little boy that I imagine he grew to be a special young man. I remember taking him to Kennywood with Aneesa (Wanda's daughter) when they were kids. She loved playing with him and the other kids out in Large. With love and prayers. Janet Hester
