Darin Edward Winder

Darin Edward Winder, 53, of Killeen, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 17th, 2017 due to a tragic accident at his home.

Darin was born in San Antonio, Texas to Bobby Ray Winder and Patricia Elaine Winder. He spent his childhood years in Illinois and joined the United States Army which brought him to Killeen, TX.

After serving in the military he went on to become a realtor where he learned that he loved being his own boss. Darin owned several businesses, the most recent was Turnaround Video in Killeen, Texas.

Darin worked on a variety of do-it-yourself projects. Partly due to passion but mostly because he hated paying someone else to do it. He loved learning, working with his hands, and technology. His handiwork can be seen throughout his home and store. His spare time was spent on caring for his cats, fishing, cooking, home improvement projects, visiting his grandsons who called him Bampa, and watching TV.

Darin loved his family and is survived by his beloved wife No Suk; children Derek and Sabrina and her husband Scott; stepson Andrew; 3 grandsons, Peyton, Kyler, and Finley. He is also survived by his mother Patricia, and older brothers Jim and Doug.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at 2:00 pm at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, TX
