Darius Jerelle (DJ) Scott was born December 9, 1992, in Chesapeake VA. On May 17, 2024, our dear son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend was called home to his eternal resting place. He was proceeded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Bishop Fred Scott, Sr and Dr. Maurice Scott, his Maternal Grandmother Sylvia Brown, his brothers Ray Holley Jr and Jeremiah Darden.

Darius spent his early years as a member of Word For Living Gospel Fellowship Center under the leadership of his Paternal Grandparents. Always willing to lend a hand and a heartfelt smile, DJ always spread joy and happiness wherever he went, and was loved and cherished by all that encountered him. DJ was a graduate of Western Branch High School and spent endless hours working as his father's apprentice during many renovation projects.

He will be fondly remembered and cherished by his loving parents, Fred Scott, Jr Chesapeake, VA and Sharon Brown Stegall (Roger) Jasper, GA, his paternal grandfather, William Brown (Franklin, VA), brothers Fred Scott III (Angelica), Suffolk VA, Travis Scott Philadelphia, PA, sisters Brittany Holley Newport News, Alexis Young Norfolk, VA, Janey Darden Richmond VA and Janiah Darden Richmond VA as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Family and Friends.
