It's been a year since you left this world. I have missed you. I remember you. I will always remember how your presence enriched the lives of your family and those who knew you. There are people who care about others and there are people who care for others. You took the caring into your heart and sent it out to whoever you thought was in need. You gave love.

Darlene was a very nice person. She was a "Good" woman in the true sense of the word. She was a
caring mother, wife and caretaker of her family. Darlene married my cousin many years
ago and was a loving wife and helpmate for
him. I remember her as a very kind and wise person. She and Gene worked as a team to raise their family which included their children and grandchildren. Gene and Darlene both chose well when they married. God gave them to each other to make a special, old-fashioned kind of family, one that truly was
fashioned of commitment, love, responsibility, hard work, and prayer.
Darlene was an extraordinary woman. Her
heart grew as it was needed, to include yet another person into the family. Whatever was needed was given. A lot of love was given to all by Darlene and Gene.
I'm going to miss that special lady. She always welcomed me and made me feel like I
was part of family.
