In Loving Memory of Darlene Manter (Beck)

August 6, 1938 - April 30, 2025

Darlene Manter, born on August 6, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, to Alice and Theron Beck, who preceded her in death, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a joy for life.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Debra Ruesga and Danielle (Angelo) Catenacci; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Reve) Ruesga, Kailey Ruesga, Gianni Catenacci, Sophia Catenacci, and great grandchild Kylo Ruesga.

Darlene was a true people person-known for her radiant smile and spirit. She found joy in life's simple pleasures: music and dancing, soaking up the sun, relaxing on the beach, bowling with friends, trying her luck at casino slots, and spending time with her family. She was also an avid Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs fan, cheering them on with passion and pride. Her vibrant energy and infectious laughter lit up every room she entered.

Darlene was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. Whether in a bustling restaurant or as a beloved member of the school community, serving generations of students at Pembroke Lakes Elementary School, she brought kindness and compassion to everything she did, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.

Darlene will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and everyone lucky enough to have known her.

Per her wishes, she will be celebrated privately by her family.
