Darlene was a big part of my young life. I followed she leaded. I have so many memories of our friendship like playing in her attic for hours, adventuring down the long dirt road by her house and joking that it was haunted. Going to skateland in Salisbury and flirting with boys, riding in the back of her dads truck going to crisfield. Riding on my brothers honda 70 around my farm. We had so much fun. The first time she rode the bike she went right into my house. The last time we spoke about 4 years ago that memory of the bike was the one thing she mentioned. I was visiting my dad and my brother John was on the phone with her and she asked to talk to me. It felt like yesterday we were making plans to hangout. She said it would be nice to get together again, but we both knew it probably wouldn't happen cause our lives were going in different directions. I always wished we stayed close friends. I will always remember her smile. My condolences to her family, I'm so sorry for your loss
