David Caringola Obituary
David Caringola, 41, of Butler died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home.
Born March 14, 1970, in Butler, he was a son of Richard and Patricia (Damico) Caringola.
He was a graduate of Butler High School and Arizona State University.
Dave was an avid fly fisherman and sports fan and was a wonderful, loving husband and father to his daughter, Angie.
Surviving are his wife, Kim M. (Gilligan) Caringola, who he married April 10, 1998; his daughter, Angie M. Caringola at home; his parents, Richard and Patricia Caringola of Butler; two brothers and their wives, Jeff and Judi Caringola and Mike and Nici Caringola, all of Mars; his mother-in-law, Diane S. Gilligan of Arizona; and a brother-in-law, Joe Gilligan of Arizona.
CARINGOLA - There will be no visitation. Private services for David Caringola, who died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, will be held for his family.
Arrangements are by the Geibel Funeral Home, Butler.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations may be made to West Penn Hospital, Prenatal Unit, NICU, 4800 Friendship Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224.

To the Caringola Family..
I'm very shocked and sorry to hear of your loss. We all grew up together in that neighborhood, playing and arguing sports together for 20 years. I have great memories of not only David but the entire Caringola family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Mr. C., et al...
David was about 6 months old when I came to Fidelis. That seems so long ago, but surely so short for you and your family considering this horrible loss.
I hope your faith remains strong while searching for answers or reasons. If David was the kind of man like so many have described within this guest book, then rest assured, you will be reunited with him one day.
I will say a special prayer tonight for David and all of you to God and to St. Padre Pio who was a close friend of my father's and long time champion for our own family's spiritual needs.
Many of your old friends, students and peers are active in Facebook. Word is spreading there. Heaven will be avalanched with petitions for David's soul.
God bless and keep you all.
