Dave, my Brother----I have no words. I am completely heartbroken. for over 23 years you would take my phone calls and be the greatest FRIEND I have ever known. You were a the type of friend that is as rare as Uranium. I am so sad, but I know the Glory of the Lord you are sharing NOW. I WILL NOT say goodbye. Just goodbye for now. Joy to you my brother.

Dear Dave, Jessica and Jessica,
I loved your father like a brother. I met him back in 1999 when we were in school for network engineering. We were instant friends. Dave was such a joyful, funny, kind, authentic soul. His spirit was so impactful my husband, Aaron, stole him from me and became instant close friends. He is grieving right now because we just heard the news. Brother Dave, soar high with our Lord, I know you are one bright beautiful shining star. We love you and will see you one day soon.

I heard Dave speak in my first AA meeting, August 1995. He was influential in helping me stay sober to this day. God bless you Dave

I´ll miss Dave for his big smile and positive energy. He was just... nice. In the world we live in, that means a lot. And we´ve all lost a lot. We´re all a little less that you´ve gone. Love ya Dave

I never met David until that fateful day. I was one of the first ones on the scene. I called the hospital almost daily checking in on him and praying for him and his family. I even dropped off flowers at one point. Even though I did not know him, he seemed like a wonderful man that will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss and just know he did not suffer. Condolences to all of you.

Dave couldn´t walk into the restaurant without everyone knowing he was there. He made everyone´s day brighter and constantly made everyone feel welcomed and appreciated. I´ll never be able to drink an ice tea without thinking of him. Ice tea, no lemon extra ice. And don´t you dare give him water, he can drink that at home, as he would say.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was just so much of a pleasure to be around. The room would just light up whenever he walked in. He seemed to always have a sparkle in his eyes, and he had a great sense of humor along with a lot of wisdom. He always knew just what to say at the right time to help someone else.

David and I met in junior high at the age of 13. We connected with each other from the moment we met and remained friends for 54 years. I cannot recall ever having an argument with him. We loved and supported each other through the ups and downs of our lives. The loss of him leaves a hole in my heart. He was always there for me. Always a loving example of how we should all treat each other. We constantly spoke to each of our children and grandchildren. We knew how blessed we were. David had a strong faith in God. He is one of his angels now. I hope he puts in a good word for me. No doubt he has a great deal of influence in heaven after the life he lived on earth.
