David Lamar Crosthwait, age 70, went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2014 in La Vernia, TX. He was born on January 16, 1944 in San Antonio. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed.

Bubba was preceded in death by his father, David M. Crosthwait; mother, Bobbie Angeline Cook; and brother, Richard Crosthwait. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lillie Crosthwait; 7 children, Angeline C. Lopez & husband Tino, Susan Ivy, Kathy Ivy, Sharon Morash & husband Michael, James Dugie Jr., Billy McKnight and Topaze Brown & husband Kenneth; 11 grandchildren, David James King, Matthew Brandon King, Melissa Rios-Fatehi, Andrew Rios, Devin Absher, Clarissa Morash, Tamra Morash, Christopher Collins, Brooke Hoffman, Tatum Langford and Grant Langford; numerous great grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 3 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

So sorry for your loss. I didn't know him but I wanted to send a ccomforting word to the family. I find much comfort in Gods word at 2 Thessalonians2:16, 17 it show God loves us and he will give us everlasting comfort. Please read that when you have time.
