Very saddened to hear of Dave's passing or as he was dubbed in Milwaukee "Super Dave". I reflect often on the time that he spent here and his name invariably comes up when we are on the golf course. Again, deepest sympathies to Kelly, Luke and family.

we are so saddened to learn of David's passing. We were in the Air Force together in Oklahoma where we shared many laughs and fond memories. After David left the AF we caught up with him in Atlanta. He was our daughter's first visitor after her birth there. We will never forget Sunday mornings when the doorbell would ring and there stood David with the newspaper in one hand, a cup of coffee in the other, asking, "When's breakfast?" We would spend the rest of the day reading the paper, watching football and catching up on old AF buddies. Mrs DiGiacinto you may remember one of those Sunday afternoons when you, Sally and Brian joined us for Trivial Pursuit and BBQ. What a great memory. We are all better people for having known him. You have our deepest sympathy. He will be missed.

Only today we learned of David's passing from an Air Force friend. If we would have known in time, we would have attended his memorial service. He meant that much to us. We are not only deeply saddened for your loss, but for our loss as well. We considered David (Dig) an extended member of our family.
We met in the Air Force in Oklahoma where we shared the love of flying and sports. Though our career paths went separate ways, we kept in touch throughout the years. While frequently traveling, he always found a way to our house to spend time playing golf and reliving old times. As an airline pilot, I sought Allentown layovers so I could see him in his own environment.
His memory will always be dear to our hearts.

We were just informed of David's passing by mutual Air Force friends. We are so sorry not only for your loss but for the loss of our good friend. If we would have known in time, we would have attended his funeral. He meant that much to us. We considered David (Dig) a member of our extended family.
We first met in the Air Force and shared the love of flying and sports. Even though our paths went separate ways, we kept in touch throughout the years. When he traveled, he found a way to visit us frequently playing golf and enjoying being with old friends. As an airline pilot, I had numerous Allentown layovers to see him in his own element.
Though he is no longer with us, we have great memories of our times together that we will treasure always.

Mrs. DiGiacinto, Kelly and Luke

David was simply the best. His love for the City of Bethlehem was evident in his service to the Bethlehem Authority, City Council, and most recently as City Controller. His love for the City, however, was out weighed by his love for his family. All of us will miss his sense of humor, his advice (whether requested or not), his friendship, and most of all his integrity. May family and friends strengthen you in the days ahead. David will be sorely missed.

Dear DiGiacinto family,
How premature and sad to lose such a wonderful and caring person. Dave was my classmate and good friend at LHS and afterwards. He was a significant part of a great group of friends who enjoyed our high school years together & helped each other through the ups & downs. I admire how he conducted his life- always putting his family first, being a great friend, contributing his time and efforts to worthy causes & to the city he loved. He will be greatly missed. My heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Warmly, Liz Filipos

To the Digiacinto Family, I met Dave as a service advisor at Brown Daub Volvo. I had the opportunity to meet and eventually become a friend. He is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. He loved his son Luke and at the time his wife Kelly! Even after there divorce, he still made sure Kelly and Luke were taken care of. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. Dave, May you rest in Peace! God Bless
