David Fanaro Obituary

David P. Fanaro, of Trappe, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Manor Care in Pottstown. Mr. Fanaro was born on October 23, 1944 in Norristown, a son of Christina (Scotti) Fanaro of Trappe and the late Anthony Fanaro. He was 66. Mr. Fanaro attended Methacton High School. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a self employed flooring mechanic. He had formerly been a member of the Lions Club in Boyertown and of the Jaycees. He loved to cook and to watch boxing. He also enjoyed going to the movies, trying new restaurants, and playing pinochle. Mr. Fanaro loved his children and grandchildren dearly. In addition to his mother, Mr. Fanaro is survived by his children, Richard J. Fanaro (Jennifer) of Exeter, Kimberly Wade (Paul) of Birdsboro, and Kristen Tyson (Michael) of Macungie. Also survived by five grandchildren and his sister, Connie Peck (Robert) of Trappe. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass Monday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 6th Ave and Locust St., Collegeville where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton. Contributions in Mr. Fanaro's memory may be made to the Building Fund of St. Eleanor's Catholic Church. Condolences may be expressed at www.ruggierofh.com. Arrangements are by Ruggiero Funeral Home of Trappe.
