David "Morris" Felix

Felix NOTE: VISITATION TODAY David M. "Morris" age 100 of Elk River, formerly of Anoka. David became a machine shop instructor at Dunwoody Institute in 1948. Two years later he assumed the position of Evening School Coordinator, which he held until his retirement in 1968. At the time of his death, Morris was the oldest member of the Knights of Columbus, Anoka Council #2018. Preceded in death by his wife, Luella; parents, J.B. & Mary Bell Felix; infant sister, Aleatha; sister, Gladys Rude; brothers, Coursolle J. and Danna L. Felix. Survived by daughter, Beverly (John) Perrin; son, Danna (Waldeane) Felix; 12 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren; 1 great- great-granddaughter; nieces, Mary (Dale) Larson, Judy Trutwin; nephew, Dennis Felix; cousins, Norma Serene and Marilyn Felix; very special friends, John & Mary Comford, Doris & Doane Harrington, George & Lou Ottenstroer, Jim Wennerlund, Al Loehlein, Clinton Caswell, Merlyne Freeburg Jewell, and "Jack" Hanson. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 12 noon at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 5th & Jackson St., Anoka. Interment Champlin Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM Wed. (TODAY) at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, W. Main St. & Branch Ave, Anoka. K of C Rosary 7 PM and parish vigil prayers 7:30 PM Wed. (TODAY) at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
