David HARDY Obituary
David passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Juravinski Hospital on March 27, 2023. He was a man full of life and was taken from us far too soon. He was the beloved husband of Diana for 40 years and cherished father of Jamie Lynn. Dave will be missed by his siblings, sister and brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends, and his brothers and sisters from Local 46. Dave was a friend, positive influence and inspiring mentor to all of those around him, especially any tradesperson who was fortunate enough to learn from him. Dave dedicated himself fully to all of his endeavours, and was an extremely talented and well-respected welder, musician, and snooker player. The family would also like to thank the compassionate and caring doctors and nurses who looked after him over the past year. He will be forever in our hearts, until we meet again. Cremation has taken place; however, friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown. A Memorial Service will take place the next day at 11 a.m. at the same location with a lunch reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Juravinski Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Please sign the Tribute Wall at kitchingsteepeandludwig.com.

It is with great sadness we have come to know of the loss of Dave. Memories of getting together, his kindness and the laughter he brought will always be remembered.

Dave was a great influence and mentor and a good friend someone you could call and ask questions about any type of welding I feel a great sense of loss he was a great mentor for those who are coming up in the welding field he will be missed
