David only two weeks from his 60th birthday, quietly and peacefully passed away early Sunday morning Aug. 10 with his wife and daughter at his side. David was a native of San Jose and well known in his community. He was a friend to many people from all walks of life. Dave will be remembered for his bold and outspoken personality and for his generous heart. David was preceded in death by his father Peter Kuzinich Sr. David leaves behind his wife June, his sons Kyle and Chad, daughters Lindsey and Breeana, and grandchildren Landon and Guiliana. He also leaves behind his broken-hearted and devoted mother Josephine Kuzinich, his brothers Peter, Joe, Michael, and Rick Kuzinich, and his loving godmother Sally Piraro. Friends and family are invited to say goodbye to Dave at Oakhill Funeral Home on Mon. Aug. 18 at 7pm. Mass is at St. Christopher Church in San Jose at 11am on Tues. Aug. 19. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

To David's family, May your memories remain strong in your heart. My daughter, Amanda Murray told me a funny remembrance. She remembers having lunch with David and a small salad was placed in front of him. He quickly called the waitress over to their table and proclaimed, "Sweetheart this salad is as dry as the desert bring me a large bowl of dressing." David was always kind to me. When I first came into the family, it was intimidating! David always embraced me with a hug and a kiss on the cheek,and asked me "how are you doing?" Always a kind man to me...Thank you!

I worked for David for several years and although I haven't seen him since moving out of state, I remember him often and fondly. He had a great sense of humor and a laugh that helped everyone around him feel happy. I only wish that I could have visited with him before his passing. I send my deepest condolences to his family and wish him eternal peace.

My oldest friend,,,59 years. We had plans to visit him that day, when I got the call that
he passed that morning. So glad Denise and I ran into him at El Burro a few months back. He was one of the few that, even though a few years would go by without seeing each other, it would seem like no time passed when we'd meet up. A good guy, generous and good a good heart. David was my good friend and client for over 20 years. He was my student in the police academy physical fitness (pt). He would (I determined after many years) hide out in the bushes and wait for us to return on 3 mile runs. Through thick and thin he was always there as my friend and I was always there for him and his Dad. I will miss them both greatly and I am reminded of my own destiny. I am off on vacation out of state and can't make the memorial but will catch up with the Kuzinich family and come together for a fond farewell. You will be sorely missed David. Best, PHIL CRAWFORD
