My sincerest condolences to Andrea, Peter, and Corinne. I had attended the funeral but did not get to convey my sympathies personally. Dave and I had a lot of great funny times in the past and, although we lost touch the last few years, I still considered him a friend. Take care of yourselves at this difficult time.

I just heard today of the very sad news of David's passing. Ron, I am so very sad for your loss. I used to babysit David as a young boy when he grew up in Viscount. I was his neighbor across the street, and his dad was my algebra teacher. I still remember David's hearty laugh and happy go lucky demeanor. He brought joy to everyone around him. What fond memories I have of the Lambert family. How sorry I am for your loss.

I am so sad to hear the passing of my letter carrier Dave. I always told everybody we have the BEST mailman ever! When he was away I always looked for him to return. Recently when his Mom passed he stopped and told my husband and I that he was doing better but worried about his Dad. He truly was a caring person. My family and I pass on our deepest, deepest sympathy to Dave's Children and Family! He was a great man.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of David Lambert. He was our mail carrier for a number of years. He would chat with me in the summer whenever I was planting flowers in my front yard. He nominated my lawn for Flowers in Bloom. I told him thanks. Even though I knew I'd not win, I treasured the Flowers in Bloom sign among my red flower pots in the rocks under spruce tree. I shall miss his friendly chats as our postal carrier. Take care. Janis Scobie, Edmonton, Alberta

We just received a note in our mail box about the passing our our mail courier, David Lambert. We wondered where he was over the last several days...We are saddened by his passing and extend our sympathy to his family and friends. David always made a point of saying hello and chatting to connect with us "strangers" who were on his route. That made him special, something already known to his family and friends. Rest in peace, David.
