My deepest condolences to the entire Lloyd family. You are all in my prayers. I grew up with Davey on Marchand Street in the late 50's and early 60's. Even as a kid you could see his intellect and leadership qualities. Davey was honest and upfront at all times.
I am saddened by his loss, but uplifted because I know where he sits now. I was honored to be a childhood friend of such a good person. RIP, Davey. God Bless You.

I will always remember David's smile whenever he entered the office no matter what he personally was facing at the time. Behind that smile was a truly courageous and inspiring human being. The virtues he possessed were evident to all he touched and I for one fondly remember and appreciate them all. He was truly special. Love to you Terri and your family.

The first time I met David he told me "you are the most beautiful person I have ever met". I am not particularly pretty, so embarrassed - I said "Do you really think so?". He said - every morning the most important thing I can say as I look in the mirror "You are the most beautiful person I will ever meet today". For me, every morning since that day 25 yrs ago, I have heard David's voice reminding me that in one moment of my life - I was reminded to be the most beautiful person. Every time, and I mean every time I saw David after that, he would give me a giant bear hug and say to me - You ARE the most beautiful person I will meet today. His engaging smile, his energy, his truth that he spoke to so many of us - reminding us that every day is a beautiful day and a beautiful person is what I will miss most. And as the tears fall and the sadness envelopes me - I can hear his voice in my head, I can see his smile in the heavens reminding me not to shed tears but to shed laughter and remember - you are the most beautiful person in the world Mr David Lloyd and I was truly blessed to have known you.

I grew up with Dave-O. He was always the most energetic, intelligent, and outspoken one in the room. You always knew where you stood with him. Growing up, I always knew in my heart what a successful person he would become! He exceeded my humble expectations. Rest in Peace, your Mission is Accomplished. May the Lloyd family feel God's support in future months and take comfort in Dave's spirit that will remain in their hearts forever.

David was a dear and caring friend and wise mentor who came into my life at such a meaningful time. He taught me so much about what I didn't even know I didn't know. I will always cherish his presence in my life and be forever grateful of how he influenced me to be a better person. As all of his many friends know, David was a genuinely good human being!
