David Israel Lucero "Gone Fishing" OGDEN - David Israel Lucero, loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend lost a lengthy valiant battle on February 16, 2005 from liver disease and renal failure. He was born February 11, 1932 in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Jose Benito and Pearl Pacheco Lucero. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Delores Lucero, three daughters and seven sons; Davidann Lucero (Mike Gallegos), Kathleen (Richard) Gee, Eugene Lucero (Jose Galvan), Anthony (Jenny) Lucero, Simon (Susan) Trujillo, Edward Trujillo, all of Ogden, and Davidlynn Lucero of Washington State, Karie St. Louis of Sacramento, California, Eddie Lucero and Joseph (Cherise) Lucero of Salt Lake City. Also surviving are two brothers, Thomas (Lydia) Lucero and Ben Lucero Jr. of Ogden, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special thanks to wife Delores Lucero, DavidAnn, and Mike for caring in his last days. Dad will be miss ed and cherished by many, you will be in our hearts forever. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 21, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
