David Michener Obituary

David H. Michener, 76, husband of Paulette A. (Fetterman) Michener, Creek Rd., Skippack Twp., died Monday, at Phoenixville Hospital. Mr. Michener was born on February 19, 1940, in Norristown, and was the only child of the late Howard A. and Dorothy A. (Adair) Michener. He was a US Navy veteran and later earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Temple University. Before he retired, Mr. Michener was an information technology teacher and student co-op coordinator at the Central Montco Technical High School, Plymouth Twp. In addition to his wife, Mr. Michener is survived by his children, Jeanene A. Michener, wife of Andrew Speckhart, Skippack, and Stephen H. Michener, Skippack, and his grandchildren, Jessica Friel, Amanda Friel, Isaiah Michener, and Alyssa Michener. A memorial service will be announced in the near future. Good Father, I lift my heart in praise and thanksgiving for placing Mr. Michener directly into my path. I ask that you provide healing and comfort to his family who are left behind. His passing is our loss, but heaven's gain. In Jesus' mighty name, Lord, comfort the family. Amen.
