Grandpa..

I can't believe you are actually gone.. you were the best grandpa in the world :) You always knew how to make me laugh.. even though you hated kids ;). I will never forget all the good times we shared at the stone house.. or the times I would be concentrating on something and you would yell " BOO " and make me jump..and then laugh. It hurts to face the reality that I will never see you again, and I wish we could have spent more time together the past couple years.. Rest in peace grandpa.. I miss you so much.. xoxo

Alexis, Clint, Karlee, Jared, Leland and Mrs. Pud

You're all in my thoughts as we say goodbye to a man who has been in my life since the age of 6. Our hearts go out to you during this very, very difficult time in your lives. We are here to support and love you in every way. Your dad, son and papa had a heart of gold. He helped me with my first bra - he gave me a nickname and for those who really knew him - you'll know exactly what I mean when I write the initials TTT. David used to serenade us all with his beautiful country voice. My favourite song he sang was Marty Robbins, My Woman, My Woman, My Wife. I remember being in Mrs. Pud's house, listening to him sing his heart out. David also had a quirky sense of humour we all loved and adored. When he came into our family 40 odd years ago - he didn't know what to call our mom! He, god love him, came up with the name "Grannie" - and there it stuck until the day she died and beyond. Everyone who ever met mom called her Grannie. Thanks so much for that Dave. I know Grannie appreciated it. The Laycox family love and miss you loads. Rest in peace my favorite Brother-in-law, until we meet again.

Well, Sir, there's a lot of people down here very sad that you've left us so soon and so suddenly. We could sure use one of your classic jokes to lighten things up a bit and maybe help us crack a smile. You are profoundly missed. Graeme.

Daddy,

I still cannot believe you are gone. You were such a presence in everyone's life and nothing will be the same without you. I miss your smile and your sense of humor. I wish I could kiss your face again. You were the best father and friend anyone could have asked for. The world has lost a great man. As the infamous Pudder would say "Don't think it's been fun 'cause it hasn't." I will always love you Dad xo

To one of the most amazing family's I have ever known...
I love you guys, so so much. All the fun times we have had, the parties, hide and seek in the farm house as kids, scary ghosts lol, your dad calling me names, good times at the bar together, karaoke. I could go on for hours... It's been a privilege to grow up with this family, Dave and Diane were like second parents to me ,and it breaks my heart to have to say goodbye to someone who meant so much to so many. I promise I will always be by your girls sides..
xoxo to the Puddister family..
R.I.P. Big Guy.. I love you, I will never forget you.

Memories of your Dad and Papa - keep them close to your heart. Nobody can take these away from you. I will always have the memories of Dave - some good, some not so good. I'd like to share them. The bad - waking up at Leslie's and Dave's house after partying hardy the night before. The one thing I learned is that Dave WOULD NOT ALLOW YOU TO SLEEP IN. If you didn't get up with the first call, you received a full cup of water in your ear. This happened far too many times. Probably why I hate anything in my ears now. The good memories to tell just a few - going on a trip and having to listen to his old Country and Western music from his 8 track tape player. But god, what a voice. My favourite song that he used to sing was Marty Robbins "My Woman, My Woman, My Wife". He definitely had the gift. His pranks, his funny laugh. He bought a car and wanted to do the work himself. He decided he was going to paint it - WELL, the paint sprayer or can didn't work so he was out on the driveway, painting it with a paint brush - a pale pink or peach colour. That was Dave and these are the memories I will always have of your Dad. He will always be with you. Dave, you were a character, a true newf. Everyone that knew you, will miss you. Rest In Peace. Love you guys - Auntie Rondi

A Message to David's Family;
I was terribly saddened to hear of David's passing. David and I were friends from about the age of 12 or 13 and enjoyed many long hours together. He was full of life and it was a pleasure to have known him. Sadly we drifted apart, but I am very grateful for the opportunity to have been part of David's life. The world is a better place because of David and his infectious personality. We will meet again my friend.
