Thank you everyone for your good wishes and kind words. There are friends my dad had that I would like to speak with about his life before I knew him. If anyone wishes to share their memories please try to find a way to contact me or comment here. Thank you so much, and live well.

Janis and I are so sorry for such a great loss such as cuz David, I remember allot of fun times and joy that we shared growing up. Even though are paths have not crossed together in many years He is still and always will be in my heart. David is free and living the high life now , but we ask that the Lord to give His family comfort and peace at this time. Love to you. Jerry & Janis Roberts.

To David's wife,children & grandchildren:
I am so very sorry at David's pasing yet I am comforted in that I was able to be with him in the local hospital along with my wife,Linda and my son John Jr.
We prayed & conforted him and when we left, we did so with the conviction that David in s Spiritual was going to be OK.I talked with him daily in Houston and he was looking forward to coming to the Amarillo VA.
We loved David dearly & he served our country well as US Marine in Viet Nam.
May God bless & comfort the family through the His Holy Spirit.
Semper Fi Marine! Our prayers are with all of you.
