David Samson Obituary
Peacefully on June 17, 2013 at the age of 60, with his loving family by his side. Dearest husband of Yvette for 33 years. Dear father of Steve Renaud and wife Pam, Ken Renaud and wife Michelle, Rob Renaud and wife Barb, Jennifer and partner Jamie. Beloved son of Clarence and the late Joyce. Brother of Danny and partner Shirley, Diane Siemon and husband Dennis, Donna Moise and husband Denis, Darlene Filiault and husband Jeff, and the late Debbie Deslippe. Cherished grandfather of Kevin Renaud, Brittany Renaud, Robert Renaud, Brooke Renaud, Haidyn Samson and Amanda Renaud. Dave will be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Dave's passion was music and he enjoyed both performing and organizing events throughout the city. He also entertained at many area nursing homes, providing much enjoyment for the residents. Dave was Entertainment Chair for the R.C.L Branch 143 for several years, booking all entertainment for Legion functions. If you so desire, donations to Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Visitation Wednesday, 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. R.C.L. Branch 143. Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at

To all of Dave's family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Our family truly enjoyed Dave's music for many years at Malden Park and more recently at the Village of Aspen Lake. We always made it a point to attend pub night when we knew he would be singing. He truly enjoyed what he did and he treated the residents like family.
