TRAUB _ David Allan 1955 - 2004 David Allan passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 after a nine month courageous and valiant battle with brain cancer, with his family and friends at his bedside. Al is survived by his best friend, his loving mother Ann. He was predeceased by his dear dad, Barry, on May 20, 2004. He is also survived by his precious sister Pat Bleile; his loving nieces, Brianne and Courtney; his sports buddy, nephew Brennan and a great-nephew baby Dallas Allan (who he thought was so cute). He will be missed by his two special cousins, Marie and Rody; his aunts, Joyce and Donna and uncle Gordon and many other cousins in Calgary and Vancouver. Al worked for Westburne Electric for the past twenty-four years, always giving more than one hundred percent. He loved his job and will be missed by all his co-workers, his buddies, who he had so many nicknames for. He was a great sports fan all of his life, an authority on all aspects of just about any sport. A special thank you to Dr. Forsyth, Dr. Choudry and Dr. Zochodne and all the nurses who cared for him at the Foothills Hospital. "May God be with you until we meet again." A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4 Street N.W. (located within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) at 2:00 p.m. Donations in Al's memory may be made directly to the S.P.C.A., 1323 - 36 Avenue N.E., Calgary, Alberta T2E 6T6, or to the Salvation Army - "Centre of Hope", 822, 420 - 9 Avenue S.E., Calgary, Alberta T2G 0R9, Al's favourite charities.
