David our family will really miss you!!! We always enjoyed you coming over to HR's house to watch tv. You were always fun to be around. Still in shock that you are gone. I still listen to the Karen Carpenters songs that you sent to me and I know you are having her sing for you in heaven.

The short two years that I knew David were very special. He spent many hours watching sports events with us. How he remembered all the facts of players and games was always amaizing to me. He and HR could tell you anything you might ask about all types of sports. I have talked to David on the phone alot. I would call HR and David would answer and we would talk for ever. Then he would let me talk to HR. Smile, I enjoyed every visit with David. He talked alot about his mother. You did not have to be told that he loved her. You could see it and hear it. We already miss you David.
There will not be a game that goes by that we will not think of you. Yes, we will Roll Tide Roll. Mrs. Ruth, we too have lost your son,.

Ruth and Barry,
I am SO sorry to read of David's passing. I had no idea until reading it in the paper.David and I hugged and re-lived memories of our childhood, while at Daddy's visitation last November. He reminded me of when he was a toddler and I thought I HAD to carry him on my hip. There are only a few years difference in our age, but I loved him so much that it was hard to put him down.My mom had many home movies of me carrying David.
Ruth, and Barry, I will be praying for you daily as you grieve the loss of this precious son and brother. God has gained another angel.I am sure daddy has already given him a big hug. I love you dearly!

David and I were the best of friends. We shared many sport and history events together. David helped me coach women's church league softball for many years. He was a visistor of my house for over 35 years. David, James Williams and I went to many high school football games together. I loved David very much and he will be greatly missed my me and my family.
David was a sweet and considerate young man who had many friends. I sent my deepest condolence to his mother, whom he loved very much. One more time... Roll Tide Roll. Love, HR

Ruth and Barry, I and the four kids he loved dearly grieve with you at the passing of David. We know he is in a better place and he never has to worry about taking insulin shots or testing his blood sugar ever again. He is with his Daddy, his precious Mamaw's and Papaw's and his uncles, aunts, and cousins even though it hurts that he is not with his Mother and brother and those who loved him. You raised two fine sons Ruth, and they honor their parents by being such fine men. God bless you both and, as always, I'm here for you. So, to our David, we say we will miss you, God bless you, and ROLL TIDE ROLL!
