Dean Bradshaw Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 3, 2024.
Dean Wayne Bradshaw, aged 68, passed away on March 1, 2022, in Ogden, UT.

Born at home on May 25, 1953, in Ogden, Utah, to Betty Jane Dickamore and Wayne Baugh Bradshaw, Dean lived a life marked by deep relationships and caring for those he loved.

He married Randy Bailey in Ogden, Utah on September 26, 2020.

Dean lived his life in the Northern Utah area and graduated from Bonneville High School. He attended Weber State College. Dean worked several jobs including Winchell's and Kar Kwik before landing a job at the IRS in Ogden where he worked until he retired in 2013.

He loved to play bridge and attained the status of Life Master at a young age. Dad was always proud of him for that and they often played together. Dean loved to cook and try different recipes. He was collecting recipes to create a cookbook.

He had a motorcycle when he was young and because he always had a job and worked hard, he had his own vehicle as soon as he could drive. He loved to play computer games and was an expert at completing the daily crossword and Crytoquote in the newspaper. He had an impressive memory regarding the details, people and history of his community.

He had a quick wit and great sense of humor always teasing and joking with family, friends and even people he met wherever he went. He helped care for Mom and Dad by taking them to appointments and grocery shopping in their later years. He and Randy also maintained our parents' lawn and helped with chores in the house to lighten their load. Dean was generous beyond reproach and was always aware of the down-trodden or those in need.

Dean is survived by his husband, Randy Bailey; his sisters, Diane (Rex) Clark, Coleen Corbridge, Marilyn (Steve) Smith; and brothers, David (Rebecca) Bradshaw, Chris Bradshaw, James (Jeannie) Bradshaw. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Bradshaw, and brothers, Paul Bradshaw and Marvin Bradshaw.

A family memorial service was held in his honor on July 24, 2022, at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park. The service commenced at 3:00 PM, reflecting on cherished memories and the love Dean shared with those around him.
