Debbie Anderson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 26 to Nov. 28, 2023.
Debbie Faye Anderson passed away peacefully at home on October 5th 2023, after a courageous 8 year battle with Neuroendocrine Cancer. Debbie was born in Ogden, Utah on November 2nd 1961, to Nedra and William Visser. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1980. After high school, she worked for several years for the IRS and ended her career working for the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Debbie married Ryan Anderson on November 9th, 1985, and had two children Justin and Megan, along with a number of pets throughout their 38 years together.

Debbie loved to travel, cook, hike and paddleboard but above everything else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved her dogs and loyal companions Chloe and Gwen, as well as her heavenly friend Abbie who had passed away a few years ago. She was very sweet and well-remembered by those in her community of Kamas, where they've resided for the last 23 years. Debbie is survived by her loving husband Ryan and her two children Justin and Megan.

The family would like to thank Debbie's extended family and dedicated friends who, along with her medical team, provided expert care for Debbie over the past several years. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2024 when the sun can shine, and we can feel the warmth of her love once again.

Debbie was my youngest cousin. She was the cutest little girl. Grew to a beautiful woman. So loved. Sorry to learn of her passing.

Debbie was my traveling buddy. Gina and Debbie let us travel along with them. So many fun memories. It is so hard to have my daughter lose her best friend.

Debbie was my sister in law. I am amazed how she met this sickness so bravely and kept living her life to the fullest till the end. She loved to travel and was so lucky to be able to. She is sadly missed. She was a good wife and mother. Love you Deb.
