Debi Jacob Obituary
Debi began her insurance career with Bill Gardin State Farm in Alvin, Texas. In 1989 she was hired by Mary Lou Church State Farm in Friendswood and later in Texas City (1994-present).
Debi was office manager for 35 years. She ran a tight ship. Debi made it a practice never to leave at the end of the day until every telephone call had been returned. Policyholders specifically asked for Debi because they knew she would handle their claim, change, or payment efficiently and with a kind attitude. She was very courteous to everyone.
Debi helped RC in the hay field and with their cattle business. She enjoyed being outdoors and went to Galveston Beach as often as she could. Debi's dog, Zoey and her sun conure bird named Juno were never far from her and both, you might say, were 'frisky'.
"Debi was country when country wasn't cool"! She was comfortable wearing her Rocky Mountain jeans and her Justin fat babies. She and RC two stepped to George Strait, Tobey Keith, Clint Black and others. Debi had a real zest for life.
There will be a celebration of life at the State Farm office of Mary Lou Church located at 922 14th Street N, Texas City, Texas on Friday August 15, 2025 from 10 - 6. Stop in and share a memory. Debi will surely be missed.
