Deborah Jo Carroll

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Deborah Jo Carroll, 72, of Sierra Madre, CA.

Debbie passed peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2024, with family by her side. She was born in Los Angeles, CA, on December 5, 1951. She grew up in the San Fernando Valley, where she attended high school and college. For over 40 years, Debbie had a remarkable career as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines, earning the affectionate nickname "Delta Deb." Her work allowed her to travel the world, including opportunities to fly military charters to bases in Europe and the Middle East-an experience she cherished as her way of giving back to those who serve.

Debbie is survived by her two children, Alexander Jeffrey and Matthew William, as well as her beloved 12-year-old Chihuahua, Cheech. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jeffrey William (2015), her parents, Harold (1995), Alta (1994), and her brother, Gary Richard (2017).

Although petite, Delta Deb filled every room with her vibrant personality and infectious laughter. You could hear her coming from a mile away, a sign that the party was about to begin! She was an avid traveler, a dog lover, and above all, a devoted mother. Debbie and Jeff created a beautiful life for Alex and Matthew, leaving a legacy that will continue to live on through them.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 17, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at San Gabriel Country Club, 350 E. Hermosa, San Gabriel, CA 91775.
