Deborah Kay Gardner, also known as Debbie or "G-Deb" to her beloved grandsons, passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 75 in Antioch, IL. She was born on March 10, 1948 in Evanston, IL, to Walter and June Daus.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bruce Dean Gardner, her three children, Kimberly Gardner England (Damian), Lisa Gardner Kettner (Patrick), and Dean F. Gardner, and her siblings, Brooke Daus, Wendy Matthys, Sally Pierre, Bunny Tyler, Robin Wyatt, Walter Daus, Corry Daus, Kevin Daus and Sister in law Claudia Sipp. She also leaves behind her cherished grandsons, Cody England (Morgan), Cade England (Nikki), Clay England and Henri Kettner, great-grandchild, Warren England, her fur baby Freddy and many nieces and nephews.

Debbie was a hardworking woman who found her calling in real estate, where she was a favorite agent of many. She was always looking out for the best interests of her clients and was known for being one of a kind. Her dedication to her work was only surpassed by her love for her family.

A celebration of Debbie's life will be held on Saturday, May 20th, from 1 pm - 5 pm at 582 Edelweiss Drive in Antioch, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to PanCAN.org, a pancreatic cancer research organization. Contributions can be made at pancan.org. Deborah has a tribute page. Link in condolence section or contact a family member for assistance.

Debbie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on through the love and kindness she brought to the world.

I´m so sad to hear of Debbie´s passing. I own Copper & Lace. A woman´s clothing store and she used to stop in and shop with me. She was the sweetest lady I´ve ever met. My thoughts are with you all. She was simply the best.

We´re so very sorry to hear that Debbie has passed away. We met her several years ago through her husband Bruce, whose company had worked with Frank´s employer. Debbie & Bruce introduced us & graciously invited us several times to visit them in Florida, where we now live full time. We´d lost touch the past few years, which saddens me, especially since she has passed away. She was a wonderful person ... God Bless. Our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family during these difficult times.

Debbie was an amazing bright light. Very kind, caring and compassionate in everything she did. We first met her when she was working as a realtor, she found our home for us. We are completely sorry to hear about her passing. Sending our condolences to all her family members. She will be greatly missed.

I was shocked to hear of Debbie´s passing today from my neighbor. There is a lot of history with Debbie and her family and mine. From the Millburn days when my husband taught her children and Debbie being part of the PTA. I also knew her through Wayne Criswell´s office. She was also my neighbor in my neighborhood. I loved her attitude and spunk! She was a joy to talk to. I will miss her.

I really didn't know Debbie since I've lived in the American Southwest almost all my life. I got to know Debbie through my sister Merri and Walter Daus. For a period of 5-6 years almost every day there was something on the internet about the Daus Family which included Debbie. Debbie is now in my daily prayer-set which also includes all of the Daus Cousins. God Bless Debbie and all of you. Peter J. Martori

Deb had the biggest heart, always willing to help in any way she could. She´d always look for that silver lining, even if it wasn´t noticeable, she´d find it! Very lucky, to have been her brother. You will be always missed my dearest Deb, always!
