Sarah,Jenny,JB and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom/grandma. I was just thinking of her and wondering what was going on in her life. I am so sorry I haven't kept in touch. I loved your mom very much and did not see that she had passed until yesterday. My heart is heavy and I am praying that God will see you thru this. I will never forget when she taught me how to make "quick gravy" with just butter, buillion cubes and water! I couldn't believe it! I would have definitely been there for you guys if I had known.
Much love, Charlotte Jones Fuchs

Jenny & Sarah, I was saddened to learn this news about your mother. She and I (and our husbands) were really good friends for numerous years while you two were being born and beyond. Jenny, you went to Michigan with them to visit us in our cottage when you were very little. Sarah, you were born about a week ahead of Martha, and your mom called me early in the morning from the hospital to tell me you were here! She and I also worked in the Huntington Bank Building together. I saw Debbie in action so often looking after and providing loving support and care for her many friends. She was a giving, dedicated, strong woman and you should be so proud of her!
I pray for your memories, in time, to be of that happy woman who was your mom. Sincerely, Anne Webster Dickinson

Debbie had a wonderful vivacious spirit, and she could always find something to laugh about. We shared special times at Belle Meade CC in Nashville, as well as visits to Battle Creek, MI, & Scottsdale, AZ. My sympathy to Sarah, JB, and Jennie for your loss.

Debbie was truly a mom to me. Both Barney and Debbie made me a part of their family when I needed a family the most. I always enjoyed the after work/school time where Debbie and Barney would make it part of their day to sit and visit about our days. Debbie always made yummy hors’ doeuvres and we all would chat about what each of were doing. Also, I had so much respect for Debbie because if she disagreed with me, she would let me know. I always felt loved and cared about and I thank both Debbie and Barney for giving me that love and attention. I miss you both!!! And you will always be a huge part of me. Love always, Kathy Miller

Dear Sarah, Matt, JB, Laura and Jenny, I am so sad to hear about your mother. I have known her since we were 10 years old. Debbie's always been a beautiful, optimistic and fun human being and a particularly loyal friend. I am so happy that I was able to see her in May. What a courageous woman she was and always interested in others more than herself. My love to all of you and your children. Joanna Walz Foster
