Debra Beck Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 16, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Debra Beck, who departed this life on July 29, 2025 at the age of 70, surrounded by family and love.

Debra was born on May 1, 1955 in Bountiful, Utah, as the only little girl of 4 siblings, to Byron Reid Carpenter and Joyce Abel Carpenter. From the beginning, she brought joy, laughter, and light to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She lived a life full of compassion, kindness, and quiet strength. She will be remembered for her rich and playful personality, her perfect example of love and acceptance of others, her pure and genuine heart, as well as her unwavering love for her family.

Debra cherished time spent with her loved ones. Whether it was weekends with her grandchildren as they grew up, watching her great grandchildren run around the yard, or simply sharing a quiet moment with her daughter or husband, Debra filled every moment with gentleness, warmth, and smiles.

In the last few years of her life, intimate and meaningful time was spent with her husband and her daughter, who were her greatest source of support, joy and care during that time.

She is survived by her husband, Hans Beck, daughter, Lisa Anderson, brother, Doug Carpenter, grandchildren, Austin Alder, Brayden Sevy, Savannah and Cody Bacon, and great-grandchildren Evan, Jordyn, and Nyla, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives with love and grace, just as she did.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Reid and Joyce Carpenter, her brothers, Alan and Steve Carpenter, and her daughter, Stacey Craig.

Per Debra's request, there will be no formal services held. There will be a small family gathering to celebrate her life and share memories.

Though she may be gone from our sight, Debra will never be gone from our hearts. We are forever grateful for the time we had, and the love we shared.
