CURRAN DECLAN
Declan's children Conor, Laura and Claire, his father Willie, brothers and sisters and extended family wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us in our sad bereavement. To those who visited the house, sent Mass and sympathy cards, floral tributes and donated to our chosen charities. To all who attended the Requiem Mass and funeral and who travelled long distances to be with us. A special word of thanks goes to Dr. Donna Mace, Cathy White and her team of nurses, Rose Green (Foyle Hospice), Marie Curie Nurses, to the doctors and nurses in the Cancer Centre, Sperrin Ward and Royal Hospital and to Gary and Ann McLean all of whom gave Declan great care and support. Our gratitude also to those who helped during the wake and especially to our family members who helped care for Declan throughout his illness. Particular thanks to Fr. Chris Ferguson for the moving Requiem Mass and homily and for his ministry to Declan during his illness, and to Fr Farren and Fr McFaul for their visits and prayers. To the Campbell sisters and folk group for the beautiful music and to the Directors, Manager and Players of Derry City Football Club for their dignified Guard of Honour. Our sincere thanks to Adair & Neely Funeral Directors for the professional and compassionate manner in which they carried out their duties. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Declan's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Eugene's Cathedral at 7.30p.m. on Friday 13th April. All welcome.
