I made pretty aprons, took some to Del's restaurant just off the harrisonville square. I told the waitress "you can keep the apron I give you free" if you tell everyone where you got it. Mr. Del. bought several for the girls ro wear Easter. My oldest brother, Gale Crutcher, worked for Del. He was classified as Del's Process Engineer. Del cried like a baby at Gale's burial. Good guy-Mr. Del

During my years at the Democrat Missourian Newspaper I got to visit with Del many times. I thoroughly enjoyed Del every time I saw him. He could tell the best and most interesting stories.
