We'll miss you Mom. You sacrificed so much to make a better life for your boys, and I hope you knew how much we appreciated it. We'll especially miss your happy nature and sense of humour - you always made us smile and laugh. We love you!

The care and support offered to Delia in her final stages of life is a tribute to the love and respect she deserved and is one of the greatest gifts her family shared with her. Delia was an important and loved member of our family. She was a perfect partner to her 'Johnnie', a wonderful Mother to Pat, David and Dan and a treasured grandmother. She was a beautiful person. You always felt very welcome in their home and she forever provided the essential physical, spiritual and emotional support to her family throughout a gifted life.
Her final journey was difficult for all to watch but both her and John understood it and embarked upon it together. Sharing this journey with a loved one although demanding is also one of the greatest gifts a partner can share.
We will remember our 'sister' Delia with love and respect and hope that John and his family will know that she is not gone but is now one of the million lights in the vast sky that flares up in the endless night forever.

Dear John and Family, Take comfort in the warm memories and the good times you have shared with her.She was a special person and a doting grandmother!
